I love your blog. I blog about my everyday blessings and books. And you blog about the same also. I guess I’ll be a visitor here. 🙂
Anyway, Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson is a must-read. Try it and tell me your feedback, will you?
Keep on inspiring the readers! 🙂
Good post. I learn something new and challenging on websites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be helpful to read content from other authors and practice a little something from their sites.
Couldn’t agree more. You learn something new everyday. And reading is such a great way to do so
A must read is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. It is an excellent portrayal of how far Gods love for us goes.
Thank you for the tip! I’ll have to pick that up!
I love your blogs format. Who designed your blog?
I designed it 🙂 Thank you. Be blessed!
Do not say I am too young by Dominic Russo
Thank you for the tip!
Thank you for stopping by “What’s The Good Word?” I’ve enjoyed looking at your posts–especially your book recommendations. God’s blessings!
Hi there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this website with us so I came to take a look. I’m definitely loving the information. I’m bookmarking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Exceptional blog and outstanding style and design.
Well thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day! Be blessed
“Celebration of Discipline” is a must!
Will have to go check that book out! Thank you for the suggestion!

If you plan to read Celebration of discipline you should consider Spiritual Disciplines for the christian life by Donald Whitney. It is an easier read but still a great overview of the spiritual disciplines.
Thank you for the suggestion! I will have to check that book out! 🙂
These books look wonderful! I’ve read many of them and they are among my favorites (In the Grip of Grace, Calm My Anxious Heart, Five People You Will Meet In Heaven) and I know have a few new ones to look forward to finding!!
Enjoy! If you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them 🙂 Be blessed
Great list here. A recent read that I’ve been recommending is Prototype by Jonathan Martin. I see Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster on there. Have you read anything else of his. CoD was good but his book on prayer was simply amazing. I don’t think I could ever make it more than 3-4 pages before I had to put it down again and start praying again.
Based on your book choices I think you’ll enjoy Redeeming Love…its a page turner and will open your eyes to “real” love.
Some powerful ones that aid me- the last two being the most relevant to our generation in my opinion:
The Fear of God – John Bevere
Lioness Arising – Lisa Bevere
Girls With Swords – Lisa Bevere
God is Able – Priscilla Shirer
Praying God’s Word – Beth Moore
The Prophetic Generation – Tim Bagwell (a must read for our generation I believe)
Undaunted – Christine Caine
