Love Letter

I like to think of the Bible as God’s love letter to me. If you think about it, that is what it is. He is telling us how much he loves us. He also tells us how to live our lives so that we are the happiest and so that we may bring joy to Him. These are just a few encouraging verses and a few of my favorites! (I will probably continue adding more) If you have a favorite or another one you’d like to share please tell me!

“My child, pay attention to what I say.  Listen carefully to my words.  Don’t lose sight of them; let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them and healing to their whole body”
-Proverbs 4:20-22

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” -Romans 8:28

“Look at the nations and watch- and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told”
 -Habakkuk 1:5

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:23-24

“I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step.” 1 Corinthians 9:26.

“Be joyful always; Pray continuously; Give thanks in all circumstances.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“He has made everything beautiful in His time.”

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity –1 Timothy 4:12

  1. Isaiah 30:21 is a favorite verse of mine. We went hiking and got lost – no food, no water, and a diabetic husband. It looked like we were going to collapse before we found our way back to the car. Just then I saw Oxalis. Its leaves were upside down so the purple was showing. I heard, “This is the way, walk in it.” As I looked down the trail, there were more…all upside down. About the time I would get panicky again, there would be another bunch of purple leaves. They led us all the way out of the forest. God is so good!
